Filar Micrometer Gautier

The filar micrometer replaces the eyepiece lens of a telescope and is used to determine the star coordinates. This micrometer was bought in 1890 to be placed on the Starke meridian circle.
Paul Ferdinand Gautier was a famous instrument maker of the end of the 19th c. He constructed the most important instruments of French Observatories of this period.
